2017 SEA Games: Gold medal winners get rewarded
Cambodia's gold medal winners in the recently concluded SEA Games in Malaysia were rewarded with cash incentives under the "Go for Gold programme by Naga world, the official sponsors of the contingent s training and competitive gear since 2011. The ceremony was held on Friday. The two individual gold medallists, taekwondo star Sorn avmey and kickboxer Khun Dima got s3,ooo each, while the petanque women's doubles team of Ke Leng and ouk received $5,000. As presented support, Nagaworld the Committee of Cambodia with ssoo for each gold medal won by the Kingdom NagaWorld Executive Director Pern Chen said: "In partnership with NOCC, Naga world is committed in supporting the Cambodian contingent at major interaSTional events such as the olympics, Asian Games and SEA Games." NOCC Secretary-General Vath Chamroeun said the rewards greatly helped inspire and motivate the nation's athletes.
